- 📦Deskless updated to version 3.0.1Deskless 3.0.1 makes fold-aware layouts free.
• On iPhone Duo and other foldables, unfolding now opens a second pane for everyone, and closing returns to one editor. On the free plan the second pane shows your current file; Deskless Pro lets it show another file or Project Tools.
• Automatic layouts now stay automatic after you relaunch the app.
• The Deskless Pro list now shows everything Pro includes.

- 📦Deskless version 3.0.0Deskless 3.0 helps you finish the job from your phone: give the agent a goal, check its work, and take it all the way to a reviewed, merged change.
• Agent Mode 2.0: the cloud agent explores your project, edits a private draft, runs your project's checks on the device, and presents a patch for you to review before anything changes. Use Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok or OpenRouter with your own key.
• Agent tasks save checkpoints you can review or resume, and can work on their own Git branch. When iOS allows it, a task you start keeps working after you switch apps, with progress shown by the system; on-device checks wait until you return to Deskless.
• Git is now free: clone over HTTPS or SSH, see status, stage, commit, resolve conflicts, pull, push and sync, and view diffs. Pro adds branches, rebase, tags, history, blame, stashes, pull requests, and AI commit messages and diff reviews.
• Pull requests and merge requests on GitHub, Forgejo/Gitea and, new in 3.0, GitLab: see CI checks and logs, check out a branch to run it locally, review with inline comments and suggested changes, approve, and merge exactly the commits you reviewed. Fix with Agent starts from a failing check, and Start Work turns an issue into a branch.
• Navigate code with Go to Definition, Find References, Rename, Show Documentation and Quick Fix from the keyboard, the context menu or ⌘-click.
• Project Tools can install pure npm packages and Python wheels for offline use, run SQL scripts with SQLite, and debug async JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Accessibility and large-text improvements across plans, AI, Git and Project Tools.
• Fixes, including Python output that lost its line breaks, the Agent panel's Done button on iPhone, and a cleaner editor on Mac.
Agent Mode and cloud AI require Deskless Pro and your own provider API key; provider access and usage charges apply. Advanced Git, pull requests and other Pro features require Deskless Pro.

Deskless is a code editor, Git client, and AI coding assistant built for iPhone and iPad. Open real projects, make changes, run local code, and manage repositories from your device.

• Resume saved agent tasks, optionally on their own Git branch; when iOS allows it, a task you start keeps working after you switch apps
• Follow agent progress through Live Activities and Dynamic Island
• Use free on-device Apple Intelligence for quick coding help on supported devices—no API key required
• Try the beta Offline Agent for reviewed, locally checked project edits on supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled and its model downloaded
• With Pro, connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI or OpenRouter using your own key
• Provider access and usage charges apply
