DNS Propagation

DNS Propagation 1.5.1 shows results you can trust. Propagation checks no longer report false mismatches, TTL analysis no longer crashes when a nameserver doesn't answer, and records that don't exist simply show "No results". - TTL analysis fixes: fixed a crash when a nameserver didn't answer in time, for example with alias (CNAME) subdomains or on networks that block DNS traffic. One failing nameserver no longer stops the others, alias subdomains now use the right nameservers, and the analysis runs at the same time as the provider lookups instead of before them, using your Request Timeout setting. - Accurate comparisons: SRV records and long TXT records such as DKIM keys no longer show a false mismatch, and DKIM values no longer contain a stray space. A record that only some providers return is now reported as a mismatch, so you can see when propagation is still in progress. Home and History always show the same status. - Clear results: domains and records that don't exist show "No results" instead of an error. Failed providers are listed last with their real response time, and TTL analysis appears only for providers that returned a record. - Precise TTLs: TTL, cache age and authoritative TTL share one precise format, such as 1h 30m or 4m 44s. Cache age and freshness compare the record you asked for, even when the name is an alias. - Settings and iPad: Authoritative TTL Comparison is remembered between launches. On iPad, Settings opens correctly from the sidebar, the form and results line up, and a typed domain stays when you switch sections. - Smoother lookups: press Search on the keyboard to start a lookup. Pasted links such as https://example.com/page work, "www." is removed only at the start of a name, and rechecking from History fills in the domain and record type. Starting a new lookup cancels the previous one, so results never mix. - Easier copying: double-tap the results on Home to copy them, as described in the How To guide. A short confirmation replaces the alert, and copies from Home and History share one format that includes the TTL analysis and the time of the lookup. - Polished interface and fixes: the domain field is visible in dark mode, Clear History asks before deleting, long domain names in History are shortened instead of hyphenated, About scrolls on small screens and shows the current version and year, the How To guide has a new, cleaner layout, and buttons and switches are labeled for VoiceOver.
