What users say about Dot: Period & Pill Tracker
From recent reviews.
About Dot: Period & Pill Tracker
Dot is a private period tracker and pill reminder for iPhone and iPad. Keep your cycle calendar, symptoms, medication routine, and optional fertility observations together in one calm place.
One upfront purchase includes every feature. No subscriptions, ads, tracking SDKs, or Dot account.
A LITTLE CLARITY, EVERY DAY
• Record a period start or end, bleeding, a favorite symptom, or a displayed dose from Today.
• Use Undo when you need it. Review and correct earlier entries in your calendar.
• Choose periods, pills, or both, with the same four simple tabs on iPhone and iPad.
YOUR CYCLE, IN YOUR OWN WORDS
• Log flow, custom symptoms, severity, daily impact, duration, and personal notes.
• Keep spotting, an explicitly recorded no-flow day, and missing entries distinct.
• Record changes such as hormonal contraception, pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, or perimenopause.
• Turn period estimates on if useful. See the recorded history behind an estimated range, exclude individual cycles, or enter your usual range when there is not enough history.
PILL ROUTINES THAT FIT YOUR SCHEDULE
• Set daily, selected-weekday, monthly, one-time, every-few-days, elapsed-interval, or pill-pack routines. Log as-needed medication separately.
• Enter your prescribed active pills, placebos, planned breaks, or continuous routine.
• Record actual intake times, snooze a reminder, mark a skipped dose, and review your history.
• Pause or archive a routine, adjust your supply, and set a refill threshold.
• Check reminder permissions and upcoming coverage in Settings.
OPTIONAL FERTILITY OBSERVATIONS
• Chart basal body temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, with measurement times and disturbance notes.
• Log cervical mucus, ovulation test results, and pregnancy test results, including multiple tests in one day.
• See gaps where observations are missing. Charts do not confirm ovulation or identify safe days.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Start with local storage and log offline. Apple Health and iCloud connections are optional.
• Protect access with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Choose discreet details for reminders and widgets.
• Create an encrypted backup with your own passphrase, export CSV records, or make a date-selected PDF for an appointment. Personal notes are optional in reports.
Dot is a personal recording tool, not medical advice or a method of contraception. Follow your prescriber's directions. Estimates are uncertain, and reminder delivery depends on permissions, device settings, and system behavior; some schedules need periodic renewal. Apple device backups follow your device settings separately from Dot's iCloud sync.

This landmark update transforms Dot into a comprehensive, multi-faceted wellness companion, introducing an advanced Medication Manager, interactive Widgets, dynamic Live Activities, and powerful data export tools.
New: Smart Medication Manager
Never miss a dose again. You can now deeply manage your medications, vitamins, and supplements securely alongside your cycle history.
Complete Flexibility: Set custom reminders that fit your life—build routines for Daily, Weekly, patterned Monthly, or distinct One-Time dosing events.
Advanced Multi-Dose Tracking: Taking something 3 times a day? Dot logically tracks your daily progression, giving you full visual readouts on how many doses you've taken versus how many remain in your cycle.
Interactive Adherence: View your intake history and active medication checklist directly on the main dashboard, featuring brand new tactile haptic buttons to add or subtract accidentally logged doses.
Dynamic Live Activities & Widgets
Your Home and Lock Screens just got radically smarter and more beautiful.
Interactive Lock Screen Banners: When your dose time windows approach, Live Activities will materialize on your lock screen and Dynamic Island. You can literally log the required medication without ever opening the app! (These banners are completely customizable for privacy).
Seamless Widget Logging: Interactive checklists sit directly on your Home Screen.
The "Cycle Aura": When active, the widget naturally glows pink to indicate menstruation, while seamlessly providing a sleek "Next In" day-countdown feature during standard cycle phases.
Data Privacy & Safe Exporting
Your data belongs solely to you. We’ve fortified our offline-first architecture with proactive management limits.
PDF Medical Reports: Instantly generate a clean, systematic PDF breakdown of your vitals and cycle notes—an ideal format for sharing specifically with your healthcare provider.
Raw Extraction: Pull a full JSON architecture backup of your entire application timeline for raw safekeeping.
Absolute Wipes: We've implemented a brand new "Nuke Data" protocol. A single tap safely clears every byte of information locally, within Apple Health, and within CloudKit simultaneously.
Additional Structural Polish:
Total iPad Support: Fully modular layouts using 2026 SwiftUI capabilities that geometrically reform to maximize screen real estate regardless of your device orientation.
Optimized Check-in forms allowing you to bypass strict rigid inputs for streamlined "One-tap checks."
