About Downshift: Focus Timer
Downshift Focus helps you put your phone down and get back to what matters.
Start a focus session with one simple gesture: place your phone face down. When you pick it up or flip it back over, your session ends. No complicated setup. No noisy productivity system. Just a quiet way to create a real break from your phone.
Built for deep work, studying, reading, writing, creative work, and any moment when you want fewer distractions.
How it works:
• Flip your phone face down to start focusing
• Pick it up or turn it over to end the session
• Track your focus time with a clean, simple timer
• Review your sessions, daily progress, and weekly stats
• Use Lock Screen session timing to stay aware without opening the app
Designed to stay out of your way:
• Minimal, calm interface
• No accounts
• No ads
• No unnecessary clutter
• No data collection
• Focus sessions are stored locally on your device
Downshift Focus is not another app that asks for your attention. It helps you create distance from your phone, one focused session at a time.
Turn your phone over. Turn your focus on.
