EPUB Fix repairs the internal structure and metadata of EPUB files that fail to open, display incorrectly, or are rejected by reading apps.
Many EPUB issues are not caused by corrupted data — they stem from malformed structure, a missing or incorrect mimetype declaration, or incomplete metadata such as a missing language tag. EPUB Fix targets exactly these problems and silently corrects them in seconds.
What it fixes
Incorrect or missing mimetype
Missing dc:language metadata in the OPF file
ZIP structure that does not conform to the EPUB specification
What it cannot fix
EPUB Fixer repairs structural and metadata issues only. It cannot recover files that are genuinely corrupted or physically damaged, and it does not remove or bypass DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection. DRM-protected EPUBs must be managed through the platform or store they were purchased from.
