Eye Charts

Eye Charts is a vision testing app independently proven most accurate in a peer-reviewed study (JAMA Ophthalmology). Trusted by parents and clinicians to check, record, and track children's vision since 2018. Early detection of myopia allows you to take preventive action, seek medical advice promptly, and prevent pseudomyopia from worsening into myopia or stop nearsightedness from deteriorating further.

MORE THAN A DIGITAL EYE CHART
Unlike paper charts that can fade, warp, or become memorized, Eye Charts presents randomized optotypes for each test. This helps reduce variability when repeating measurements over time.

Eye Charts is self-illuminated on iPhone and iPad, so chart visibility is less dependent on ambient room lighting. Screen brightness can be adjusted, including for longer testing distances such as 6 metres.

THREE WAYS TO TEST
1. Doctor and patient — in a clinic or at home
2. Self-test with a mirror — wear an eye patch; the effective testing distance is doubled
3. Self-test with a Bluetooth keyboard — from a few meters away

SEE TRENDS, NOT JUST SNAPSHOTS
