Father's Fieldbook is a daily practice for Catholic men. It asks one thing of you each day, and it keeps the record of whether you did it.
THE STAND
Open the app and the day is already composed: the liturgical season, the feast if there is one, a line of Scripture, a short prayer, and one thing to do. Three minutes, then the day. No scrolling to find your place.
YOUR RULE
Choose three to five commitments — daily, weekly, or monthly. Check them honestly. The app shows evidence, not a score: "Kept 5 of the last 7 days." There are no streaks to break and nothing to lose. On Sunday you review the week and decide what to keep, drop, or replace.
THE GUIDES
Behind the rule sit field guides written plainly: the morning offering, the examen, Confession, Sunday Mass, the Rosary, the household budget, the smoke alarms, the first three minutes of an emergency. Each one lists the sources it draws on — Scripture, the Catechism, the American Heart Association, the Red Cross — so you can check the work.
IT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE
Tell it whether you are a young man, a husband, or a father, and the guides speak to the life you actually have. A man with no children is not told what to teach his children.
