The map is the big change in this build. Please spend a few minutes just moving it around before anything else. 1. THE MAP — panning and zooming Drag and zoom the map quickly, in central London and out in the suburbs. It should stay smooth. Before this build it could show up to 1,600 pins at once; it now shows a few dozen to a few hundred. → Tell us if it stutters, freezes, or pins flicker in and out. 2. FLIGHTS ARE NOW GROUPED Arrivals are one pin per terminal per hour, named like "Heathrow – T5 · 14 arrivals" instead of a separate pin per flight. → Check the arrival count and times look right when you tap one. 3. ONLY THE NEXT FOUR HOURS The map shows what is happening now or starting within four hours, rather than everything happening today. → Tell us if something you expected to see is missing. 4. EIGHT NEW KINDS OF PLACE Hotels, pubs, universities, hospitals, nightclubs, sports venues, shopping centres and boosted trains. Venues and football have been removed. → Check pins, colours and detail screens look right, in light AND dark mode. → Hospitals, universities, stations and shopping centres come from a built-in weekly schedule, so they appear around their own opening and shift times. 5. FILTERS - All fourteen categories now fit on screen at once, four across, no scrolling. - The red numbers on each category should match what the map shows, and should change the moment you tap "Live now" or "Upcoming". - "Live now" = the window has opened and the counter is running. "Upcoming" = it has not started yet. - The work window slider has been removed. → Tell us if a number disagrees with the map, or if a category is cut off. 6. MILES OR KILOMETRES Settings → Distance Unit. Miles is the default. → Check every screen follows it: map cards, explore list, saved, detail sheets. 7. THE FERRO BUTTON It now only offers hotspots you can reach in about ten minutes. → Tell us if it suggests somewhere that is obviously too far. 8. SAVED HOTSPOTS Save a hotspot and leave the app closed. You should get a notification about ten minutes before it opens. → Settings → Saved notifications should switch this off properly. 9. ALERTS Hotspot alerts are limited to 5 a day, with at least 45 minutes between them. → Tell us if you get more than that, or two about the same place. KNOWN / EXPECTED - Crowd numbers on some places are estimates and still being tuned. Tell us if one looks obviously wrong. - Some hotspots will disappear from the map when the app decides nobody there needs a ride. That is deliberate.

WHAT'S NEW IN THIS BUILD Alerts now reach you with the app closed. The biggest change. Previously the app only noticed nearby demand while it was open on screen. It now keeps working in the background once you set yourself Available, so you can leave it behind navigation or a booking app and still be told when work appears near you. You will be asked for "Always" location access the first time. Please allow it, background alerts do not work without it, and iOS only offers that choice once. Football matches Matches are now their own category with their own pin and colour, instead of appearing as generic events. Kick-off and full-time are shown on the detail screen. Parking is easier to see Parking spots are no longer grouped. Now see exactly which side of the street a space is on. They are drawn smaller than demand pins so they do not crowd Reporting a spot Reporting parking and eggs has been rebuilt. Reports are checked before they go on the map, and confirming soms once per driver. Sign-up and sign-in Several problems fixed: creating an account now tells you immediately if you already have one, signing in no longer sometimes claims your account already is now properly connected to your account so you can use either method. Fewer repeated alerts The same hotspot no longer alerts you n the app. Profile The Trips figure now shows your real number than a placeholder. Then sign out and sign back in the same way. Tell us if any step gives an error or asks youdy have an account. 2. Background alerts Allow "Always" location when asked,hen leave the app and use your phone normally for a while. Do alerts still arrive? Check Settings > Location FerroMaps says "Always". 3. The map Look at parking pins — are they visible? Are football matches showing with their own pin? Does the map feel crowded anywhere? 4. Reporting a spot Drop a parking report and an egg. Does it save without an error? Try confirming a spot someone else 5. Alerts you have already seen Close the app fully and reopen it a few times. Do you get told about the same hotspot again? 6. Your profile Does the Trips number match what you see in Gig History? 7. Two devices If you have a second device, sign it one signs itself out.
