Football Career Sim: Be a Pro

Seventeen, starting in a youth team. When to stop is your call.

A simulation that follows one footballer's career from the first training session to the last. You are not running a club. You are living as one player.

■ The odds are never hidden
Every season brings choices, and every choice shows you what each outcome's chance actually is. You can open the breakdown and see how much your attributes and your manager's trust moved those numbers. No re-rolls are sold.

■ Youth team to first team
You do not begin as a first-division starter. You play youth football, pass through the reserves, and earn the first-team place yourself.

■ 9 leagues, 90 clubs
England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan, North America, the Gulf, South America. Debut age, wages, foreign-player quotas, and what managers look for all differ by league. Where you start and where you go changes the career. Every league, club, player, and manager in the game is invented and bears no relation to any real organisation or person.

■ Positions and play styles
Keeper, defender, midfielder, winger, striker. All 35 play styles are free. Keeper and striker are open from the start, and the position pack unlocks the rest. Managers want different things, so the same player gets different minutes under a different manager.

■ Transfers and renewals
When a contract ends, offers arrive: clubs to challenge, clubs to compete at, clubs where you walk in as a starter. You can also ask to leave first, and name the league you want. The club accepts or refuses, and tells you why.

■ Beyond the league
A domestic cup every season, and continental club football only when last season earned it. A national-team tournament comes round every four years.

■ Retirement, and what is left
The body sends the first signal. Retire, and you keep the career totals, a six-axis assessment, and the percentile you finished in - measured against the distribution of twenty thousand careers actually played.

■ Global ranking (optional)
A retired career can be entered into the weekly, monthly, and all-time boards. You do not have to enter it - the name and career record are only sent if you agree, and any name on the board can be reported or blocked.

■ 11 nationalities, real flags
Your nationality decides your first league and your national team, and names are generated to match it.

A banner at the bottom and one ad when a career ends. Nothing between seasons, and nothing over a screen where you are choosing. Remove ads once and both are gone.
