- On iPhone, the app now works in landscape too.
- You can now share your Year in Review in story format.
Improvements
- The session timer has a new design that uses the colours of the cover, shows how much time is left to finish the game, and lets you add a note.
- More reliable backups. An interrupted backup is never offered for restore, and trying to restore a file that isn't a backup leaves your library untouched. If a restore fails, your library goes back to how it was. The backups screen shows the iCloud upload status of each backup and the status of the automatic backup. Backups made with Game Tracker 1.0 and 1.1 can now be restored too.
Bug fixes
- The PDF of your whole library lists every space in alphabetical order, across as many pages as needed, and long names no longer overlap the numbers.
- Exporting from a list, such as a space, a platform, or a smart list, now includes only that list, and the file is named after it, from Shortcuts too. Previously, it exported your whole library.
- Purchase lists opened from Statistics now update right away when you change their sorting or layout.
- Choosing a suggested game mode or player perspective now shows the Save button right away.
- Some menu items for a game's location and in saved filters always appeared in English. They are now translated.
- Dates with a two-digit year in imported files, such as 16.12.24, are now read correctly.
- On iPad, making a window narrower no longer closes what you had open.
- On iPad and Mac, deleting a tag, space, or filter now also closes its list next to the sidebar.
- On Mac, a window that opened while the app was in the background no longer appears without its buttons.

Bug fixes
- Titles with apostrophes and hyphens. When sorting by title, apostrophes and hyphens put some games in the wrong place. Apostrophes are now ignored and a hyphen counts as a space: "Marvel's Spider-Man" comes after "Marvelous", and "Half-Life" sorts as "Half Life".
The new order is applied automatically the first time you open the app after updating.
What's new in the latest update
- Tag and genre suggestions when you assign them to a game, created with Apple Intelligence. They are never applied on their own: you decide.
- A switch in Settings to turn the Apple Intelligence features on or off.
- Game year recap in Statistics, written with Apple Intelligence.
- Many actions for Siri and Shortcuts, which also understand the game, space, or tag on screen. You can ask for a year's statistics, what you spent, and the platforms and genres you played the most, and get your content as an image, a PDF, or rich text.
- Your games in Spotlight search, in system suggestions, and in the widget Smart Stack.
- Game session Live Activity refined: timer always readable, cover shown correctly, StandBy and landscape Dynamic Island, pause and resume right from the Live Activity.
- Share games, notes, ratings, and play sessions as an image, a PDF, or text, and export a space as a catalogue in PDF or CSV.
- Importing rebuilt from the ground up: Game Tracker recognises the file, shows you row by row what will happen, and can update the games you already have. Rows that could not be imported come back in a file that explains why.
- Collection search ignores case, accents, and punctuation; title sorting is more consistent and can ignore leading articles. "Repair search and sorting" in Settings rebuilds that data if needed.
Some of these features require a device compatible with Apple Intelligence and a recent version of iOS.
