About GlassRadar: Glasses Detector
Smart glasses with built-in cameras look almost exactly like regular glasses. GlassRadar helps you notice them.
HOW IT WORKS
GlassRadar listens for the Bluetooth signals smart glasses send out and compares them, right on your phone, with a list of known camera glasses. When a match comes close, your phone vibrates and you get a notification.
WHAT YOU GET
• Live radar of the smart glasses around you — with or without a camera
• Approximate distance, from "under 1 m" to "15 m+"
• Hot / cold find mode: walk around and watch the ring fill up as you get closer, with optional vibration
• "Why we think so": the exact clues behind every detection
• One calm alert when several pairs show up at once
• Background alerts for supported glasses
• Mark your own glasses so they never trigger an alert
• Adjustable alert distance, up to "any signal"
• English and Turkish
HONEST LIMITS
• Tested with real Ray-Ban Meta glasses: they're spotted even while being worn. Some other models may go quiet once connected to their owner's phone.
• No app can tell whether glasses are recording. GlassRadar tells you they're nearby — nothing more.
• Distance is an estimate from signal strength and can be off by half or more.
• GlassRadar finds smart glasses, not hidden cameras.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No analytics. No servers. Nothing leaves your phone. GlassRadar detects devices, never people.
