About Gridproof: Contact Sheet Maker
Gridproof turns a shoot into a decision. Cull preview copies, compare frames and deliver a contact sheet your client can answer. No account, advertising, tracking or subscription.
PROTECT YOUR PROJECTS
Export a portable JSON backup with preview copies, decisions, camera metadata and sheet settings. Restore validates the backup and adds a separate project. Removed projects stay in Recently removed until you restore them or confirm permanent deletion. Search the project library by name.
CULL AND COMPARE
Keep, Maybe and Drop, 1–5 stars, color labels and client picks. Auto-advance, zoom, undo, side-by-side comparison and iPad/Mac keyboard controls. Filter and reorder photos by capture time, file name or rating. Up to 500 photos per project and 100 projects.
DESIGN AND DELIVER
Choose Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4 or A3; portrait or landscape; 1–8 columns and 1–10 rows. Add file names, camera information, captions, studio details, watermark text and client tick boxes. Export PDF, JPEG pages, CSV or file-name lists, or print. Read client ticks from compatible PDF forms or paste photo numbers. The Make Contact Sheet Shortcuts action creates a PDF from supplied images. Mac also includes native menus and Save As.
WHAT TO KNOW
Gridproof stores resized previews up to 1200 pixels on the long edge. Sheets and backups contain those previews, not full-resolution originals. Originals in Photos and Files are never edited or deleted. Keep them separately. RAW import depends on formats your operating system can decode. Photo numbers follow project order; CSV includes every photo. PDF check-box support depends on the recipient’s PDF app. Backups are limited to 250 MB and may contain private photographs and metadata.
Projects stay on your device unless you export or share them. Device backups follow your Apple settings.
