Grove Fling

There is only one launch pad, at the bottom of the screen. Pull it to aim, release, and fling yourself. While you are fast, you are the shot and hitting an enemy deals damage. When you stop, a touch can hurt you. Stones bounce your path; they do not take health. You do not walk the field and fire, and you cannot drag yourself to shoot. Every launch goes through that pad.

The grotto runs eight stretches deep. Each stretch has eight hand-placed fields of pillars and enemy casts, sixty-four in all, and the last field of each stretch is a boss. A field can earn up to three stars: clear it, clear it in time, and take no damage. The next field waits for at least one star on the last. The next stretch waits until you finish the previous last field.
