About Guess The Song: Music Trivia
One second of a record. Name it.
That is the whole game. The snippet starts, and the less of it you need, the more the round pays — full value at the first note, falling as the record plays on.
DUEL 1V1, RANKED
Matched on skill against another player, live. The same record, both of you at once, ten rounds, and the fastest correct answer takes the round. Your rating moves with every settled duel, and the ladder says exactly where you stand.
FRIENDS ROOM
One join code, up to eight people, everyone hearing the same record at the same second. No pausing, no replaying, nowhere to hide.
HOTSEAT
One phone, up to eight players, passed around a table. No second device and nothing to set up beyond typing names.
SOLO
Name It — type the title or the artist. Nothing to pick from, nothing to eliminate.
Pick It — four covers, one of them playing. The decoys are drawn deliberately close to the real track: same artist, same decade, same popularity band, so a wrong tap is a real mistake and not a coin toss.
Free Play — either ruleset with the hearts taken out.
In a solo run the score follows the sound, not the clock: pause and think for as long as you like, and rewind to the opening as often as you want. Neither costs you a point.
TEN TIERS, ANTHEMS TO IMPOSSIBLE
Records are ranked by how much the world has played them, and the catalogue splits into ten tiers with score multipliers from x1.0 up to x3.5. The hardest records pay the most for the shortest listen.
PICK WHAT YOU DRAW FROM
Everything, a single genre, or one decade. Decades are computed from each record's release year, so they are exact.
FREE
Three solo runs and one ranked duel a day, in tiers 1 and 2.
PREMIUM
Unlimited runs and duels, tiers 3 to 10, and Free Play, Friends Room and Hotseat. Yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly.
NO ADS. NO ACCOUNT.
No ads anywhere, ever. No email, no password, nothing to sign up for. Open it and play.
iPhone only, iOS 17 or later, portrait. Gameplay audio is the public 30-second preview of each record, played on the device — the app asks for Apple Music access on first launch so it can load them, and there is nothing to subscribe to. This is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
