Han River

How warm is the Han River right now?

Han River shows the current water temperature of Korea's four major rivers — the Han, Nakdong, Geum and Yeongsan — as one big number. Open the app and you see the station nearest to you first.

■ Four rivers
· Water temperature from monitoring stations on the Han, Nakdong, Geum and Yeongsan rivers
· The station nearest to you comes first
· Tap the station name to switch to the next river

■ Real-time 3D underwater scene
· Look up at the surface from under the water, rendered live
· A rippling surface, sunbeams, drifting particles and rising air bubbles
· The light follows the time of day — sunrise, midday, sunset and night
· Drag the screen to look around

■ Settings
· Ripple size and motion speed of the waves
· Time of day: automatic (the real sun over Seoul) or a time you choose
· Sparkle: how strongly sunlight glints on the surface
· Turbidity: from clear to murky water
· Language: 21 languages, or follow the device

Location is used only to find the nearest station; the app works without it.
