SHOWDOWN TERMINAL – ONLINE AGAINST OTHERS
• Open an arena and share the invitation by link or code, up to 10 players
• Everyone plays the same words at their own pace – the ranking updates live
• When you open the arena you decide whether hints are allowed; it runs for 5 days
• The server scores fairly: points, time and mistakes all count
• Online high scores by language, difficulty and number of words
• On iPhone: a notification when someone joins or the host starts the arena

GAME CENTER – ACHIEVEMENTS AND FRIENDS
• 50 achievements to unlock, from your first solved word to a 50-word streak
• Leaderboards for total points, best round, streak, daily, weekly and yearly points – compare with friends
• Challenges: challenge friends to the weekly marathon, the best round or the Ten-Round
• Game Center arena (ranked): only for players with Game Center, wins count for the arena leaderboard
• Optional: without Game Center you play as before with your local player; switch it off any time in Settings

LEARN AND COMPARE
• Flashcards with both hints, filterable by language and difficulty
• High scores for every player and every group, plus a history of every word you played
• Hints cost points; solve a word with no hint and no mistake to earn a bonus and a “perfect” star

PRIVACY
• No ads, no account, no tracking. Scores, high scores and your own words stay on your device. Anonymous usage data is only sent if you explicitly agree – you can withdraw at any time in Settings. Only Showdown Terminal needs the internet: your player name and your results are sent there.
• Game Center is optional (iPhone, iPad, Mac): achievements and scores are sent to Apple Game Center, which needs the internet. The name of your local player is not sent.
