About Herdr
Herdr App is the companion app for Herdr. Connect the machines you run Herdr on and every agent on them shows up in one inbox. See who needs you, read what they did, and answer in their real terminals, wherever you are.
INBOX
Every agent on every machine, in one list: Needs you, Done, Working and Idle. A blue dot marks the ones that finished since you last looked. Pin the ones you care about. Swipe left to send Esc, swipe right to pin or mark read. Pull down to search every terminal on every machine.
REAL TERMINALS
Tap an agent and you're in its actual terminal, drawn the same way your desktop draws it, in your Ghostty theme. Type straight into it, use the key bar for Esc, Tab, Ctrl and the arrows, select and copy text, and see the images agents print. Swipe the header to go to the next pane in the tab, or tap it to see them all.
REPLY YOUR WAY
Write in the compose box, dictate, paste, or attach a photo. Photos are uploaded to your machine and the path is typed for the agent. Dictation runs on the phone: Apple's built-in speech, or a model you download once (Parakeet or Whisper, about 160 MB to 1 GB, Wi-Fi only if you like).
SPACES FROM THE DESKTOP
The spaces and tabs from the Herdr desktop app show up here, each tab as a small map of its splits. Open a tab to watch every pane live. Watching never resizes anything on your computer. Start a new terminal or rename a tab from the phone.
YOUR MACHINES, NO ACCOUNT
Connect one machine by its name or address. The app makes its own SSH key on the phone; add it to the machine once, or use Tailscale SSH and skip that step. The machines that computer already knows come along. Your terminals go straight between your phone and your machines and never pass through us. No sign-in, no ads, no tracking.
ON IPAD
A sidebar with the inbox sits next to the terminal, like the desktop app.
WORKS WITH YOUR AGENTS
Herdr knows Claude Code, Codex, Amp, OpenCode and Pi, and any other program shows up as a plain terminal.
