About Hidden Device Radar
Worried someone is watching or following you? Hidden Device Radar helps you find hidden cameras, trackers, and unknown smart devices — right from your iPhone.
Whether you're checking a hotel room, a short-term rental, an office, a car, or your own home, Hidden Device Radar gives you a fast, private way to spot devices that may be recording or tracking you.
WHAT IT DETECTS
• Bluetooth devices — trackers (AirTag, Tile, SmartTag, Chipolo), cameras, speakers, wearables, and other IoT gadgets
• Wi-Fi / local network devices — IP cameras, baby monitors, NVRs, doorbells, and smart-home hardware
• Unknown trackers that may be traveling with you
• NFC tags — tap to identify a chip hidden in an object (on supported iPhones)
KEY FEATURES
• Real-time threat scoring — every device is flagged as Info, Suspicious, Elevated, or Critical
• Signal Strength Finder — a "warmer / colder" proximity graph that helps you physically locate a device (Pro)
• Scan modes for a quick sweep, a single room, or a whole floor
• Detailed device fingerprints and manufacturer identification
• Detection history so you can tell what's new versus what's always there
• 100% on-device — your scans never leave your iPhone. No account, no tracking, no ads.
HIDDEN DEVICE RADAR PRO
Unlock everything with a one-time purchase:
• Signal Strength Finder
• NFC Tap-to-Identify
• Full threat analysis and guidance
• Unlimited detection history
• AI Trend Insight
HONEST ABOUT LIMITATIONS
Hidden Device Radar detects devices that broadcast Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or NFC signals. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC advertisements are unauthenticated, so results are strong investigative leads — not legal proof of a device's identity or intent. The app cannot detect devices that are powered off, purely analog/wired, or that broadcast no signal.
PRIVACY FIRST
Everything runs locally on your device. We don't collect, upload, or sell your data. There are no accounts and no ads.
Use Hidden Device Radar to check your own spaces and protect your own privacy. Always follow the laws in your area.

Network devices can now identify themselves
Hidden Device Radar now uses enhanced discovery; the standards cameras, recorders and routers already implement; to ask devices on your network what they are. A device that answers is named by make and model instead of appearing as a bare IP address.
Fewer false alarms, and better reasons
• Your router is recognised as your router. A gateway with a common management port open could previously be reported as a possible camera.
• An open port is no longer treated as proof of what a device is. Ports such as 8080 are used by routers, network storage, printers and many ordinary products, so a port now supports a finding rather than making one.
• A device found more than one way is shown once. The same camera discovered by both Bonjour and a port check used to appear as two separate results.
An unidentified device answering on a port associated with surveillance stays in the scan verdict, described by what was actually observed rather than by a guessed product name.
Clearer evidence
• Device details show the address, reachable ports, advertised services and how each was found. With what was observed kept separate from what it might mean.
• Exported reports now describe exactly how each observation was made, including the brief connections used to resolve a device’s address. Connections always close without sending or reading content.
As always, a scan finds only devices that are broadcasting or answering. A device that is switched off, out of range, or deliberately silent cannot be detected, and nothing in this app identifies whether a camera is recording.
