About How Long Did It Tak
Order submitted. But how long did it really take - including revisions, preparation and interviews?
How Long It Takes helps you keep your own time record. You open the application and start working. No account, no welcome questions and no setting up everything in advance. You can also operate the stopwatch from the widget, lock screen, Control Center and Shortcuts.
Your day unfolds in chunks. If you forget to start the stopwatch, you will add the time manually. When you forget to turn it off, you will correct the end time. You can split the entry, combine adjacent sections or move them to the correct order.
Jobs combine time, client, rate and budget. With a fixed price, you will see an approximate rate per hour of actual work. The summaries also include unbilled time - useful when pricing the next order.
You choose the rounding rules yourself. The application shows real and converted time, and applies the same rules in reports and exports. You will prepare a PDF report for the client, a CSV report for your own records or a JSON copy.
This is a tool for recording your own time. It does not automatically recognize activity, read the screen, applications used, websites or location. It is not intended to supervise other people. It does not issue invoices, make payments or calculate tax liabilities.
The data is saved on the device. Optionally, you can sync your saved history via your private iCloud. The developer does not receive your data. No ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
