About iLvShi - Lushi Chunqiu Study
iLvShi helps Lushi Chunqiu live in the present.
This is not another reader that only puts source text on a screen. iLvShi turns all 160 chapters into a study loop: four layer reading, a recitation desk, Seasonal Study Hall, Autumn Hunt, Daily Passage, and Month Almanac. Read with layers, recite with highlighting, practice until it stays, and keep the book where you already look every day.
The library works offline. Twelve Almanacs 60, Prefatory Intent 1, Eight Examinations 63, and Six Discourses 36 make 160 chapters. About 1061 vernacular and study English segments can be shown line by line. Most chapters include public domain Gao You commentary, plus 100 curated lines. No account, no ads, no tracking. Vernacular and English are for study reference.
Why this is more than an ebook
Lushi Chunqiu speaks in seasons and almanac chapters, and also in government, self cultivation, and judging the present. Many classics apps stop at source text plus a short gloss. iLvShi is built to open every day. Follow the Twelve Almanacs from early spring to late winter, or start from one famous line and jump back to its chapter.
1. Four layer reading
Original text, Gao You commentary, vernacular, and study English can be turned on or off. Side by side is the default. Long chapters support sectioned reading.
· Simplified, Traditional, and English interface
· Pinyin, vertical text, centered source, and scalable type
· Immersive mode; tap to bring tools back
2. Daily Passage and Month Almanac
Today follows solar terms, lunar festivals, seasons, and almanac context.
· Optional local reminder at a time you choose
· Month Almanac shows the head chapter of the current month
· Continue Reading returns the last unfinished chapter
· Famous lines jump back to their source chapter
3. Recitation desk
The current segment highlights as you listen. Rate, pitch, volume, and voice are adjustable. Playback content can differ from what you see on screen.
· Silent switch play, continuous play, and background play
· Long chapters finish every section before the next chapter
· Lock Screen and optional Live Activity
· Autumn Lists can play in a row
4. Seasonal Study Hall and Autumn Hunt
Four modes: fade, fill in, self check, and quiz. Practice one section or a whole list.
· Mastery levels: familiar, learned, and mastered
· Finish a drill to keep your streak
· Autumn Hunt asks for a line that contains a given character
5. Browse and on device search
Browse Almanacs, Examinations, Discourses, and Prefatory Intent.
· Search titles, source, vernacular, English, and lines
· Handwriting search stays on this device
· Optional system search index, off by default
6. Favorites, Autumn Lists, notes, and history
Save a chapter, sort it into lists, then reread, play, or drill. Write a note beside the chapter. History helps you continue.
7. Share cards
Several styles turn a line into a card. Add vernacular or English, share it, or save it to Photos.
