STUDY THE PRINCIPLES
• Revise 1b Static Boom, 3a Mobile Vertical and 3b Mobile Boom concepts, with awareness of 1a, PAV and specialist training boundaries.
• Work through ground conditions, pre-use checks, stability, entrapment, fall protection, electrical hazards and recovery planning.
• Understand load calculations and ground hazards with two original schematic diagrams.
• Review selected Great Britain health and safety, work-at-height, PUWER and LOLER principles.
