About Klupt: Katch the ick
Katch the Ick tracks new followers and new following on any public Instagram account — and shows them newest first.
Instagram no longer reveals who followed whom most recently. Katch the Ick works around that: the first time you check a profile, it saves a private baseline of who follows them (and who they follow) right now. After that, every new follow is detected and added to a running list — newest first — each time you check back. It all happens right inside Safari, through your own logged-in session.
HOW IT WORKS
• Open Instagram in Safari and sign in like you normally do.
• Visit any profile and tap "Recent followers" or "Recent following" on the card.
• Tap Start tracking. The first check saves a baseline (this can take a moment on large accounts).
• Come back anytime and tap Check now — anyone new appears at the top, with how long ago they were spotted.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
• Newest first — a real, time-ordered feed of new follows, not a shuffled "suggested" list.
• Your own login — it reads Instagram through your own logged-in Safari session. No password to hand over, no third-party scraping service.
• On-device — your baselines and lists are stored only on your iPhone and never sent anywhere.
• Native feel — a clean bottom sheet right on the profile, with Followers and Following tabs.
ONE-TIME SETUP
1. Open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions and turn on Katch the Ick.
2. Set instagram.com to Allow (choose "Always Allow").
That's it — open any profile, tap the card, and tap Start tracking.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Katch the Ick never asks for your Instagram password and never sends your follower data to a scraping service. Requests run on Instagram from your own device, in your own session — the same data you can already see. Your baselines and new-follow lists stay on your iPhone.
Katch the Ick is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
