La Route des Femmes: iPhone vs Android

Twenty women who healed, led, resisted, and created. Yet hardly anyone knows their names.

Herstory Circles is a match-3 game that restores them to their rightful place. The Story Tree guides you: its leaves preserve the memory of those who were erased, and for every pioneer you rediscover, a new leaf sprouts.

JOIN A CIRCLE

Four circles of women, four ways of changing the world.

The Keepers of Knowledge—healing, understanding, passing on wisdom. Agnodice, who disguised herself to treat Athenian women. Wu Zetian, who recruited ministers based on exams rather than birth. Margaret Hamilton, whose code held firm when everything else failed.

The Defiant—resisting, disobeying, blazing a trail. Nzinga, who sat on a servant’s back to negotiate as an equal. Lozen, whom her brother described as being worth a shield to her people. Josephine Baker, who hid intelligence inside her sheet music.

The Creators—imagining, storytelling, shifting perspectives. Tove Jansson, who drew the Moomins as a side project. Christine Jorgensen, who turned newspaper headlines into a platform. Sonita Alizadeh, who rapped against her own forced marriage.

The Peace Weavers—bringing people together, protecting, healing rifts. Leymah Gbowee and the women in white who refused to budge. Giorgina Reid, who tamed a cliffside by hand for seventeen years to save a lighthouse.

The circle you choose shapes your path, but nothing is set in stone. You can switch circles whenever you like.

THE GAME

Line up three or more pieces to uncover what the Tree is seeking. Four in a row create a link that clears the line. Four in a column, a root that travels up it. Four in a square, a circle that shoots straight toward what you’re missing. Five in an L-shape, a whirlwind that sweeps away the nine surrounding tiles. Five in a row, an orb that erases an entire family. Slide one power-up onto another, and they combine.

Twenty levels, each with its own shape, obstacles, and rhythm. The mist clears only through the knowledge gathered nearby. The silence crystal doesn't break; you must guide it all the way to the bottom.

No timer. Only your moves run out, and when no moves remain, the board reshuffles itself.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND INSIDE

Twenty illustrated portraits and twenty true stories, each individually verified.
Five power-ups to choose from before each stage.
An ambient soundscape of waves recorded on the Atlantic coast.
French and English.
No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no data collection.

"Rediscover their stories. Awaken their knowledge. Grow the circle."
