LanCam Scout finds IP cameras and NVRs on the Wi‑Fi you are connected to — then lets you watch, snapshot and record them on this iPhone.

Join your home or workplace network, tap Scan, and the app looks for:

• ONVIF cameras
• RTSP video services
• Bonjour / AirPlay-style camera advertisements
• MAC / OUI vendor matching when a hardware address is visible
• Snapshot CGI and well-known camera ports used by Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Reolink, Tapo, Foscam and others
• Concealed / OEM cameras that never advertise themselves

Each camera shows its IP address, MAC address when available, likely vendor, open ports, and RTSP URL templates. Other devices on the same LAN — computers, phones, printers, routers — are listed separately. Apple Macs, iPhones and iPads are identified from Bonjour model info and kept out of the camera list.

Live view stays on this Wi‑Fi. Auto tries RTSP, then HTTP JPEG/MJPEG, then HLS. Enter the camera login you already have. You can:

• Watch a single camera or up to four at once in multi view
• Take a snapshot or record video to Files and Photos
• Turn on motion detection that compares frames on this iPhone only while live view is open

LanCam Scout never guesses passwords, never bypasses login, and never uploads scan results, credentials or video.
