Permissions needed for RightTrack users
- RightTrack uses foreground services to enhance user safety, ensure accurate trip recording, and provide valuable feedback to the user regarding their driving behavior. It's essential for detecting when you start a drive and to accurately log the route taken, driving behavior, and other relevant metrics.
- The service is activated when you begin driving. This is detected through user interaction with the app and/or automatic detection algorithms that recognize driving activity.
- RightTrack collects data such as speed, acceleration, braking, and route information, which are needed for assessing driving behavior and providing feedback for safer driving practices.
