About Light Meter Pro
Light Meter Pro turns your iPhone or iPad camera into a practical light reference for everyday decisions.
Check the light falling on a study desk or reading page, compare photographic exposure, and estimate the light reaching indoor plants. The app estimates lux, colour temperature, EV100, PPFD and DLI, then gives guidance for the selected use.
Key features:
• Study and reading illuminance guidance
• Photography exposure reference with shutter speed, ISO, aperture and EV100
• Plant-light estimates including PPFD, DLI and daily light hours
• Front-camera incident-light and rear-camera reflected-light modes
• Calibration against a trusted lux meter
• On-device processing, with no account, advertising SDK, photo storage or cloud upload
For study and plants, place the device at the measurement position with the screen facing up to estimate incident light. For photography, point the rear camera at the subject to estimate reflected light.
Important: A phone camera is not a certified lux meter, colour meter, spectrometer, PAR quantum sensor, flicker meter or professional exposure meter. Readings are camera estimates or theoretical calculations. For compliance inspections, medical decisions, commercial testing, critical photography or precision growing, use calibrated professional instruments.
