Masroofi shows where your salary goes. A bank SMS becomes a saved transaction: paste it, or let it log itself through the Shortcuts app on iPhone.
An Arabic-first expense and budget app that works offline, with no account, no bank login and no ads.
◉ From bank SMS to a saved transaction
Paste a debit or credit message, or share it from Messages. It reads Saudi, Gulf and Egyptian bank messages, tells an expense from income and picks the bank's wallet. The app never reads your messages: you paste them, and they are parsed on your phone.
◉ Bank SMS that log themselves
Set it up once in the Shortcuts app and every bank SMS you receive is logged: a merchant you have filed before goes straight into its category, a new one waits for one tap. The automation hands Masroofi the message; it is analysed on your phone, and personal messages and verification codes are never stored.

Set a monthly budget per category, see what is left, and get an alert as you near the limit.

18 ready-made categories, plus your own, with sub-categories.

• The bank-SMS setup guide is clearer: it warns about the step that makes the automation ask you to type the message every time, and explains how to fix it if it happened.

• Bank SMS log themselves: set it up once in the Shortcuts app (Settings › Automatic logging from bank SMS) and every bank SMS you receive is logged. A merchant you have filed before is saved straight away in its category; a new one waits for one tap. Everything is analysed on your phone, and personal messages and verification codes are never stored.
• «A gentle nudge»: a friendly, ready-made reminder for whoever owes you, sent by you from WhatsApp.
• «Send Masroofi to a friend» in Settings, and store links on the month card.
• After your first income, Masroofi asks when your salary usually arrives, so the payday reminder lands on the right day.
• Cleaner merchant names from bank SMS, and the zakat amount no longer breaks over two lines.

Coming from a version before 2.0.16?
• Your own categories, with subcategories under any category.
• Delete all data: two confirmations, a safety backup saved first, and Undo right after.
• Installments with any provider, with reminders before the due date and on the day.
• Loans and obligations: a new section beside debts, counted as a debt in zakat.
• Wallets: any name you like, your country's banks first, and the main Gulf and Egyptian banks added.
