With the Medgate App, you always have your doctor with you. The app provides simple, fast and secure access to comprehensive medical care by phone, video and chat. More than 150 Medgate doctors take the time to advise and treat you competently. Patients benefit from Medgate's more than 25 years of experience in digital health and telemedicine.

Security
Security is a top priority for the Medgate Partner Network. The Medgate App places particular emphasis on ensuring data protection. User identity is verified through an identification process using an identity card. Medical data is not shared with health insurers. The manufacturer, distributor and operator of the app is Medgate. Medical services are provided by members of the Medgate Partner Network.

Costs
The Medgate App can be used by anyone insured in Switzerland. Consultations are billed through health insurance as a statutory benefit (equivalent to a visit to a doctor's practice) and are recognised by all Swiss health insurers. A teleconsultation costs an average of CHF 50. Some insurance models do not even incur costs for deductibles or co-payments.

Patients with private health insurance can book a video consultation and submit the invoice (GOÄ) to their private insurer as usual.
