Metal Detector & Magnetometer downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. App Store downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

Review momentum
20/100
faster than 0% of Utilities apps
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About Metal Detector & Magnetometer
METAL DETECTOR PRO - 7 Modes, 1 iPhone
Turn your iPhone into a professional-grade metal detector and magnetic field analyzer. MetalDetector Pro harnesses your device's built-in magnetometer to detect metal ferrous e magnet , measure electromagnetic fields, and visualize magnetic data in stunning real time — no extra hardware, no subscriptions, no limitations.
••• 7 POWERFUL MODES
- SEARCH
The classic metal detection experience, reimagined for modern iPhones. The app continuously reads the ambient magnetic field in microtesla (µT) and alerts you with audio beeps and haptic pulses as intensity changes. A 20-bar VU meter and three LED indicators give you instant, at-a-glance feedback. Perfect for locating hidden nails, coins, keys, electrical wiring, pipes and any ferromagnetic object beneath walls, floors or soil.
• THRESHOLD
Set a custom detection threshold and let the app work hands-free. Alerts fire only when the field exceeds your chosen sensitivity level — ideal when you need to focus on the surface you're scanning without watching the screen.
• EMF
Electromagnetic field meter mode. Identify live electrical wiring hidden inside walls, locate appliances radiating strong fields, and monitor your environment with a dedicated EMF intensity readout. A useful companion for electricians, home inspectors and the curious.
• COMPASS
A precision magnetic compass driven entirely by the magnetometer sensor — no GPS required. Clean neomorphic design with a smooth, real-time compass rose. Reliable heading data anywhere, even underground or indoors.
• SPHERE
The most visually striking mode in the app. Every sensor reading is plotted as a colored dot on a rotating 3D globe. Watch your scan history build into a living magnetic map — green for low-intensity fields, climbing through yellow and orange to alarm red as intensity rises. A mesmerizing way to understand the invisible forces around you.
• DEPTH
Estimate how deep a metallic source is hidden using real-time field gradient analysis. Point your iPhone at a wall, floor or patch of ground, press CALIBRATE, and receive a live distance readout in centimeters. Great for locating buried pipes, conduits and structural reinforcement.
• 3D FIELD
An immersive real-time particle simulation driven by the live magnetic field vector. Hundreds of animated particles drift, swirl and accelerate in response to the X, Y and Z field components. The stronger the field, the faster and more dramatic the particle storm becomes.
••• PREMIUM FEATURES •••
• Live µT readout with individual X, Y, Z axis values on a retro LCD display
• 20-bar VU meter with green, yellow and red intensity zones
• 3 LED indicators with progressive glow effect
• Scrolling magnitude graph — last 150 samples always visible
• Precision sensitivity slider with real-time signal filtering
• Audible beep alerts with adjustable sensitivity
• Haptic vibration feedback, independently togglable
• Flashlight/torch for dark and confined environments
• Auto-
