Mobaide: IDE for AI Agents

Mobaide turns your phone into a remote control for AI coding agents and terminals running on your own computer — free, with no public IP required.

Start, monitor, and steer Claude Code, Codex CLI, Antigravity CLI, or your own custom AI agents — each with its own launch command and parameters — on your Windows, macOS, or Linux machine from anywhere, with full real-time terminal streaming. Step away from your desk without losing control of your work.

HOW IT WORKS

Install a small agent on your computer and pair it by scanning a QR code in the app. That's it. Your phone connects through a secure relay and the agent reaches out — so you never have to expose your machine to the internet.

WHY MOBAIDE

• Free. No subscription, no paywalled features.

• No public or static IP, port forwarding, or VPN. Unlike SSH apps, your computer dials out to the relay, so it works behind any router, NAT, or firewall — on mobile data or any Wi-Fi.

• Effortless setup. One-line install on the computer, then scan a QR to pair. No tokens to copy and no commands to type on your phone.

• Built for AI agents, not just shells. First-class Claude Code, Codex CLI, Antigravity CLI support, custom agent types you define yourself, plus raw terminal (cmd.exe / bash) sessions.

FEATURES

• Custom AI agents — define your own agent types with a custom launch command and parameters, then start and manage them right alongside Claude Code and Codex.

• Remote terminal — full two-way, real-time session I/O.

• Multi-session, isolated worktrees — run and switch between up to 32 sessions at once, each launched in its own dedicated Git worktree so parallel work never collides.

• Terminal sessions — open a raw cmd.exe (Windows) or bash (macOS/Linux) shell in any project folder.

• Custom path — launch in any folder, with quick-pick recent paths.

• Custom shortcuts — a convenient editor for building your own quick-tap command shortcuts per session type, synced across devices.

• Auto Scan — automatically pick up issues from your tracker (Linear today), create a git worktree, and launch Claude to work on them.

• Git management — browse branches and worktrees, multi-select, batch-delete with undo.

• Prompt templates — save and reuse your favorite prompts; they sync across devices.

• Reliable reconnect — 10,000-line scrollback per session, so a dropped network never loses output.

• Secure — end-to-end auth over encrypted WebSockets (WSS).

• Manage devices — see every paired install and revoke access anytime.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Windows, macOS, or Linux computer to run the free Mobaide agent.
