Mood & Health Tracker — Well

Well turns tracking into understanding.

Most apps ask how you feel. Others read your body. Well does both — and calibrates one against the other, so you're not guessing whether you're doing okay, running low, or improving.

YOUR WELL STATE
One number, recalculated each morning from your mood, energy and calmness check-ins, then adjusted by what your body reported overnight: sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and steps. Zones run from Low through Recovering and Balanced to Peak.

Every signal is compared to your own rolling baseline, never to generic population targets. Someone whose natural resting heart rate is 80 bpm is measured against their own norm, not a fitness chart. And because the score leans on your history rather than a single day, one rough night doesn't crater it and one good one doesn't rescue it.

A 30-SECOND CHECK-IN
Three sliders: Mood, Energy, Calmness. That's the whole ask. Tag the factors that shaped your day — workout, coffee, meetings, deadlines, alcohol — or create your own. Add a journal note when the day deserves one. Check in as often as you like; multiple check-ins are weighted by time of day.

APPLE HEALTH, WORKING QUIETLY
Connect once and Well reads sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate and daily steps from Apple Health — whatever writes to it, from Apple Watch to Oura, Whoop or Garmin. Each signal adjusts your Well State by up to 12%. Nothing to log. Half the story tracks itself.

SEE WHAT TENDS TO AFFECT YOU
Impact shows how each factor you track relates to your mood, energy, calmness or overall state — as a percentage, built entirely from your own check-ins. Coffee might sit above your baseline. Meetings might sit below. Some of what you assume helps won't.

These are patterns, not proof: Well shows what tends to happen, not what caused it. Each factor needs a handful of logs before it appears, and gets steadier the longer you track.

TRENDS AND HISTORY
Follow your Well State and each metric across weeks and months. Every day is kept, not averaged away. Zoom out far enough and the slow drifts a daily view hides become obvious — direction, stability, and change.

REFLECTION LENS — WEEKLY AI INSIGHT
Each week Well reads your check-ins, passive signals and journal notes together, then writes back a short reflection in plain language: what the numbers showed, where the week diverged from expectation, what the tone of your own words suggests, and one gentle piece of guidance.

It runs on Apple's on-device model. Your week is analysed on your iPhone and never leaves it.

BUILT ON EVIDENCE
The metrics and their five-point scales draw on validated self-report instruments from psychology and health science. Well is a wellness app, not a medical device — it won't diagnose you and won't pretend to.
