Mood Meter: Self-Care Journal

Sometimes you know something feels off, but you can’t find the right word.
Maybe you feel more than “fine,” “stressed,” or “sad.” Maybe you want to reflect, but a blank journal page feels like too much.

FeelSeen is a Mood Meter journal that helps you name what you feel, understand what surrounds it, and choose a helpful next step.

① Capture the moment
- Start with the Mood Meter
- Choose from 100 precise emotion words
- Add what you were doing, who you were with, and where you were
- Write a note only when you want to
- Complete a check-in in about a minute

② Give every feeling a place
Each check-in becomes a colorful piece in your FeelSeen Mood Jar.
- Watch your emotional moments collect over time
- Revisit past check-ins in a simple timeline
- View your Mood Jar by Mood Meter quadrant
- Make room for pleasant and difficult feelings alike

FeelSeen isn’t about forcing yourself to feel better. It’s about seeing what is already there.

③ Respond instead of react
When you want support, FeelSeen offers a short exercise shaped around your current mood.
- Cool down and gently reframe unhelpful thoughts
- Choose one manageable step when you feel low
- Notice and savor positive moments
- Reflect on gratitude and what matters

These brief exercises are inspired by CBT and positive psychology, giving you something useful to try without turning every feeling into a problem.

④ Turn check-ins into insight
As your Mood Jar grows, FeelSeen helps you notice patterns that are difficult to see in the moment.
- See your mood balance across the four quadrants
- Explore how your moods change throughout the day
- Compare patterns across the week
- Discover which activities, people, and places often surround certain moods

See patterns, not problems.

⑤ Designed to stay easy
- FeelSeen keeps an emotional reflection approachable, even on busy or difficult days.
- No blank page
- No long survey
- No pressure to write
- Optional context and reflections
- Frequently used tags appear first

Start with one feeling. Add only what feels useful.

⑥ A space for honest reflection
FeelSeen is designed for personal emotional awareness and everyday self-reflection. It does not diagnose mental health conditions and is not a substitute for professional care.

Notice what you feel. Understand what surrounds it. Carry something useful forward with FeelSeen.
