About Mountaintop Thoughts
Sometimes, you just need to say something out loud so you can finally let it go.
That’s exactly what Mountaintop is for. This isn't a voice memo app, and it’s not meant for saving your big ideas. Instead, it’s a simple, mindful space designed to help you dispel distracting, crowding thoughts by getting them out of your head.
The experience is simple and physical:
- Hold to speak: Voice whatever is cluttering your mind.
- Release when ready: Let go of the screen when you've said what you need to say.
- Tilt & exhale into the mic: Physically blow your words away. Watch them shatter into paper particles and float off into the mountain wind.
When you're done, there is no success pop-up, no saved audio file, and no history log. The screen simply returns to a peaceful view, leaving you with (hopefully) a little less noise in your head.
I built Mountaintop in my spare time just for the fun of learning and creating something peaceful. The app is completely free to use. If you find it helpful, relaxing, or just a nice way to clear your head, there is an option to leave a small tip in the settings - but ultimately I really just appreciate you trying it out. I hope it helps bring a little more quiet to your day.
