The MVV-App is the cost-free and ad-free app for timetable information and public transport tickets in the entire Munich transport network (Münchner VerkehrsVerbund).

Whether you use a regional train, suburban train (S-Bahn), underground (U-Bahn), streetcar (Tram), bus, or on-demancd services (RufTaxi, FLEX or FLEXlinie) - with the app you will always find the fastest connection to your destination in Munich and the districts of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Dachau, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Fürstenfeldbruck, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Landsberg a.L., Landshut, Miesbach, Munich, Rosenheim, Starnberg, Weilheim-Schongau and in the cities of Landshut and Rosenheim.
Thanks to real-time information (forecasts), you are always well informed. You can buy the right ticket directly via smartphone, with MVVswipe conveniently via check-in and check-out, without having to know our tariff details. You’ll also get information about sharing services and can book your MyRadl directly in the app.

The MVV-App was the only public transport app to be rated “very good” in a comparison test by the magazine connect (edition 11/2023). FOCUS MONEY has repeatedly listed the MVV-App as the best app in the public transport sector in its satisfaction study (edition 14/2025 and 14/2026).
