• Milestones — a new kind of entry. Dozens of milestones, from the first smile to the first steps, alongside memorable moments: the first day at home, the first shoes, the first trip, the first birthday. Be sure to add a photo: a year from now they'll be a joy to look back on. • Sleep forecast is now official. Many of you have already noticed the translucent shapes of upcoming sleeps in the sleep pattern — it's time to tell you about them. The forecast is built from your baby's own records: the app works out their usual wake windows, bedtime and wake-up time and shows when to expect the next sleeps. While there are few records, age norms help out; the longer you keep the diary, the more accurate the forecast gets. We'll keep improving the forecast and would like to know whether you like it. You can turn it off in Settings → Sleep. • Would you like to get reminders based on the forecast — "time to get ready for sleep" and "your baby will wake up soon"? Tell us in a review whether that would be useful to you. • New kinds of baby activities: Tummy time and Playtime. • Refreshed event screens with calmer form controls. • Strolls and baths now appear in the Pattern and in Trends. • Apple Watch: entries made on the watch reach your phone more reliably — and from there to your other devices and the partner you share the diary with. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.
