About NAM AUv3: Neural Amp Modeler
Play real amplifier captures on your iPhone or iPad. Six starter captures come included, and you can load any `.nam` model and `.wav` cabinet IR, and run it as a low-latency AUv3 effect inside GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, Loopy Pro, or Cubasis.
Features:
• Six starter captures included, made from our own pedals, with the speaker sound built in so they need no IR
• Load any NAM profile (.nam) for authentic amp and pedal sounds
• Load custom cabinet IRs (.wav) for speaker/mic simulation
• 3-band tone stack (Bass, Mid, Treble) matching the official NAM plugin
• Noise gate with adjustable threshold
• Input gain and output level controls
• Normalized, raw, and calibrated output modes
• Works in GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, and any AUv3-compatible host
Whether you are practicing at home, recording in the studio, or performing live, NAM delivers the sound of real amplifiers right on your iOS device.
Starter captures and more: NAM comes with six captures we made ourselves from our own gear, so you can play right away. When you want more, thousands of free amp and pedal captures and cabinet IRs are shared by the community on sites like TONE3000. Download any .nam or .wav IR file, open it in NAM, and play.
Works great in GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, Koala, Cubasis, Loopy Pro, and any AUv3 host.
NAM is a player: it loads and plays captures, but it does not train or create new ones on your device.
Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) was created by Steven Atkinson. This app is an independent iOS port of the NAM player and is not affiliated with the official NAM project. The official NAM desktop plugin and source code are available at https://neuralampmodeler.com.
