Octopus bills no longer include half-hourly data from August 2026, so for Intelligent Octopus dispatches you can now upload the "My home & EV data" CSV from your Octopus dashboard as well as PDF bills (Dashboard > Dispatches).
CONNECTION HEALTH AT A GLANCE
The status dot now covers both our servers and your Octopus connection. If Octopus stops accepting your API key, you'll see a banner telling you so, with a shortcut to reconnect — instead of waiting for data that can't arrive.
EXPORT YOUR DISPATCHES
Intelligent Octopus users can now download their smart-charge dispatches as a CSV from the data export screen, alongside electricity and gas.
BETTER FOR SOLAR & EXPORT
Baseload for solar homes is now worked out from the hours of darkness, so daytime generation no longer drags it down. Export meters get the Request Missing Data option, and the export card shows your export tariff's name.
MORE IMPROVEMENTS
• Month comparisons can start on your billing date, with billing alignment linked across the electricity and gas cards
• The carbon forecast line is now coloured by intensity band
• Graph dates now name the weekday
• Password managers can fill the registration form
• The app warns before switching off a meter that still holds usage history
BUG FIXES
• Widget taps no longer bounce back to the Dashboard or flash a not-found screen
• Fixed the 30-day date range label collapsing to a single day
• Baseload is shown in watts, no longer mislabelled "per hour"
• Your own tariff is no longer marked as expired
• The hide toggle for the gas and electricity usage tiles works again
• Recently back-filled days now refresh instead of sticking with partial data
