About OK Connect: Security
OK Connect is the client app for self-hosted OK Connect Panel installations. Import a private access key issued by your Panel administrator, choose an available server and establish a VPN tunnel using the supplied configuration.
YOUR PANEL, YOUR ACCESS KEY
You or your administrator deploys OK Connect Panel on a server you control. The administrator creates a key and shares its private link or QR code. Import that key in OK Connect to retrieve the server configurations managed by that installation. The Panel operator controls server availability, access expiry and traffic allowance. Importing a key does not require a central OKTEAM account.
TOOLS FOR YOUR PANEL CONNECTION
• Import your Panel key by scanning its QR code, pasting from the clipboard or entering its URL.
• View the available servers and choose your connection.
• Measure server latency or enable automatic server selection.
• Refresh the key to retrieve changes from your Panel operator.
• See its title, announcement, expiry and traffic details when the operator supplies them.
• Choose your preferred light or dark appearance.
• Find language options, help, app information and privacy details in Settings.
BEFORE YOU CONNECT
The app does not deploy a Panel, include a VPN server, issue access keys or provide a public VPN service. For this workflow, obtain a valid key from the administrator of a configured OK Connect Panel installation. Keep key links and QR codes private: they contain access credentials.
VPN AND PRIVACY
The app uses the iOS NetworkExtension Packet Tunnel service. Use an encrypted configuration from a Panel operator you trust. A tunnel can help protect the connection between your device and that endpoint, including on shared Wi-Fi. It does not guarantee anonymity or server trust, and does not replace HTTPS or device security.
Key requests send the key URL, IP address, client User-Agent and a persistent device identifier, normally IDFV on iOS used as HWID, to your Panel operator. Device-binding configurations can also include that identifier in a URL parameter. The operator processes key requests and VPN traffic under its own privacy and retention practices.
