About Otherdesk – Screen Sharing
Use Screen Sharing on your Mac from iPhone or iPad, with a touch pointer, keyboard, and clipboard. There's no extra Mac app to install. Turn on Screen Sharing and connect on your local network.
Choose a nearby Mac or enter an address, then sign in with your Mac account.
- Macs: save them, give each one an icon, and sync them across iPhone and iPad with iCloud
- Pointer: tap to click, hold and drag to move items, pinch to zoom
- Keyboard and clipboard: type, Copy from Mac, and Paste to Mac
- Settings: quality, zoom, pointer speed, and cursor size
- Reconnects if the connection drops
On the Mac, turn on Screen Sharing and allow this account. Enter its .local name or LAN address.
Saved user names and passwords sync separately with iCloud Keychain when available. A device passcode is required to save a password. You can also connect without saving credentials.
Requires Screen Sharing on macOS.

Latest updates
1.4.0
Give each Mac an icon: a symbol in a color, or an emoji. Edit a Mac and tap Icon. The icon shows in your list of Macs and syncs to your iPhone and iPad with iCloud.
With Apple Intelligence on, the picker suggests icons that fit the Mac's name.
1.3
Macs you add now sync with iCloud, ready on your iPhone and iPad. Saved passwords sync with iCloud Keychain.
Add a Mac with only its address, or leave the user name or password blank and enter it each time you connect.
Sessions keep reconnecting through brief network changes, recover a frozen screen on their own, and show why they’re waiting.
Settings is simpler, the Macs list animates as it changes, and Add Mac is in the iPad menu bar.
1.2.1
Find nearby computers and follow a short guide to set up Screen Sharing.
Use a simpler session toolbar for zoom, keyboard, and clipboard. Tap to click immediately, or hold and drag to move items.
Improved typing and clipboard reliability, cursor display, and connection responsiveness.
