OTR Places: Map & Stops

OTR Places is NOT another GPS! It’s a guide that quietly sits there and both shows you and reminds you that a POI that you previously passed by is coming up. Start creating your own map today with the stops that matter for YOU, and for a limited time only get a lifetime membership for free when you create an account!

Look Ahead, Not Back
We all drive by more than a dozen places every day that we wish we could remember the next time we come through. OTR Places solves this need, allowing you to drive with confidence at all times. So the next time you need a stop, you can check ahead, rather than wishing you stopped earlier.

Your Map, Your Stops, Your Way
With OTR Places quickly and safely save any POI you wish to remember while driving or stationary. When you get close to a stop you have already saved in the app, OTR Places gently reminds you of the upcoming stops. It gives you the distance and any other information you chose to save about your locations; just what you need, exactly when you need it.

Drive Without The Mystery
OTR Places will soon become your go-to app for information on all your stops. It is exactly what you need because you created it. Giving you only the information you need. No more searching the web in multiple locations, trying to stitch together the information you need, no more wondering what a spot is really like. Know what is out there with confidence. The more you use it, the better it works!

The Information You Need
You are the boss. Your stops and preferences are the only things we care about. With OTR Places, you only see the places you choose to save. Say goodbye to the hundreds of irrelevant icons and ads cluttering your screen and discover a new way of viewing your stops!

Build Your Map Your Way
Enter as much or as little information as you see fit, and build your map your way. Customize your stops and categories and get creative with emojis!

By Truckers, For Truckers
“As a veteran OTR driver I found myself facing the same problem day after day: I would see a dozen places a day that I really wanted to remember the next time I came this way. A ramp with wide shoulders, rest areas, any number of good spots to shut down for the night, etc.. but of course, the same thing happened the next time. I would never remember. By the time I saw something it was either too late to take advantage of it or the wrong time. I thought “there should be an app for that” and so with the help of my awesome friends at Pin Traveler, we created Trucker’s Buddy! It lets you quickly, safely, and accurately mark anything that interests you, and the next time you travel that way, it will tell and show you exactly what is ahead of you. I drive longer, safer, and with much less concern than ever before. It has changed my OTR experience for the better. I hope you find it as useful as I do.”
