Pilsa Note: Manuscript Writing

Pilsa (필사) is the Korean practice of copying a passage you love, by hand. Pilsa Note brings it to iPhone and iPad.

Type a passage, or photograph a book page and let on-device text recognition read it. Pick a sheet — 200- or 400-cell Korean manuscript paper (원고지) or plain ruled paper — and the passage appears faintly behind the grid. Trace it with your finger or Apple Pencil. Finish a page a day and watch your streak grow.
