Plant Now

Plant Now tells you exactly which vegetables to grow, right where you are, right now. Select your country (AUS, UK, US), pick your city, and instantly see every vegetable worth planting this month — with all the detail you actually need to grow it well.
This isn't generic gardening advice written by an algorithm. It's built on the same expertise The Hungry Gardener has shared through books, television, and with hundreds of thousands of home gardeners across Australia and beyond. If you've ever followed The Hungry Gardener or Little Veggie Patch Co., this is that knowledge — in your pocket, always up to date, and finally off your search history.
Three tabs. Everything you need.
Plant Now — Your monthly planting list, tailored to your city and climate. Tap any vegetable for the full picture: how to sow it, when to harvest, how much sun and water it needs, who it likes growing next to, and a personal tip from The Hungry Gardener. The kind of tip you'd get if you cornered him at a dinner party.
Plant Cards — A bitesize reference library of every vegetable in the app. Browse anytime, even when it's not planting season. Great for planning ahead, killing time, or convincing yourself you'll definitely grow artichokes this year.
Watch & Learn — Head straight to The Hungry Gardener's YouTube channel for in-depth tutorials, seasonal guides, and the Veggie Patch School Guide Book. Everything you need to actually know what you're doing out there.
Available for Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States — with cities and climates mapped so the advice actually makes sense for where you live.
Whether you've got a backyard patch, a couple of raised beds, or a balcony full of optimistic pots — Plant Now meets you where you are and tells you exactly what to do next.
