Portable AI is a mobile client for self-hosted AI Agents. Configure your own server address and access token, then chat on iPhone with streaming replies, voice interaction, and file attachments.

• Self-hosted servers: Gateway WebSocket and Agent API Server (HTTP + SSE); configure host and access token with auto-reconnect
• Images & files: Pick from Photos or share via iOS Share Extension to your Agent
• Usage analytics: Token usage, cost trends, and session rankings
• Connection status: Health checks, current model, and connection state at a glance
• Server Info Cloud Backup: Encrypted server config sync and one-tap restore across devices
PRO SUBSCRIPTION (OPTIONAL — In-App Purchase only)
• Voice input (ASR): Hold the mic to speak, release to send
• Voice playback (TTS): Hear Agent replies read aloud; toggle in Settings
• Monthly quotas apply (not unlimited); see in-app subscription details
• Text chat works without login; Pro purchase requires an account
• Server access tokens authenticate to your self-hosted server only; they do not unlock Pro
REQUIREMENTS
This app is an external client — it does not provide hosted AI chat. You need to:
1. Run or have access to an AI Agent server (Gateway or Agent API Server)
2. Choose the server type in the app and configure address and access token
3. For some remote Gateways, approve device pairing on the host when required
SECURITY & PRIVACY
• Access tokens are stored locally for server authentication
• Chat content is sent only to the self-hosted server you configure — not to third-party AI platforms
• Use wss:// / https:// (TLS) for public network connections
• Voice features require microphone access; audio is sent to Baidu Cloud ASR (Pro feature)
