About Quadrivia
Quadrivia invites you to the Symposium of Minds: a card game of breadth, depth, and discovery, inspired by the ancient Quadrivium and the expanding world of knowledge.
Begin as a humble graduate student. Answer questions, earn Citations, and build a reputation across four Quadrants of knowledge:
• Numbers & Logic
• Physical Realities
• Life & Earth
• Human Maps
Your goal is a Quadrivia h-index of 4: at least four Citations in every field. The first scholar to reach it becomes Philosopher Emeritus and earns a place in the Symposium of Minds. Mastery in one field cannot stand in for breadth across them all.
• Play Solo: pursue all four fields on your own. Think, reveal, and judge your own responses.
• Play Nearby: gather 2–6 scholars on the same Wi-Fi network, with one device each.
• Play with SharePlay: bring the symposium together remotely and use FaceTime for conversation.
• Take turns answering and judging. The next player reads the supplied answer and records the result.
• Pause and return with your original group. Recognize saved games by players, dates, and Citation totals.
• Discover the story behind Quadrivia, from the Trivium and Quadrivium to the modern polymath.
• Read live text in light or dark mode, with support for larger text.
No timers, ads, in-app purchases, or Quadrivia account. Solo play works on your device. Nearby requires local-network access. SharePlay requires a compatible FaceTime call and eligible Apple devices/accounts. Every multiplayer participant needs Quadrivia installed.
