About Rasikh: Prayer Times & Qibla
Rasikh is a prayer-times and daily-practice app, free to download, with no adverts. Rasikh Plus is an optional subscription that adds more widgets, a live countdown and themes. Everything else is free.
Prayer times, from an authority you choose
Times are calculated for your location against a named authority, such as Umm al-Qura University, the Islamic Society of North America or the Muslim World League. You choose it, and the app always names the one in use. If your mosque's times differ, "Why these times" links to adjusting a single prayer.
Adhan alerts, and the full adhan
With notifications on, Rasikh schedules an alert at each prayer time. In Adhan mode the alert carries a short recording of the takbīr, followed at Fajr by aṣ-ṣalātu khayrun min an-nawm: a reminder, not the adhan. The full recorded adhan plays inside Rasikh, with Stop always on screen, and the player links to the dua for after hearing the adhan. iOS decides whether a notification is delivered, so Settings has a way to test your own phone.
Qibla, one tap from Today
The Qibla button beside the Settings gear opens the compass, with the bearing and the distance.
A tracker without pressure
Log each prayer with one tap. Gaps are recorded plainly — a private record, not a scoreboard. Nothing happens when a run ends: no alert, no penalty, nothing to buy back. An optional make-up record notes prayers to make up. Export your record to a file, and restore it from that file on a new phone.
Adhkār, with sources
Adhkār for daily occasions, each with the Arabic text, the meaning in English and its source (a short reference in the list, the full source on the entry), plus a dhikr counter.
The Hijri date
Today names the calendar the Hijri date comes from; tap the date for a note on it.
Free widget and themes
The next-prayer widget, for the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and two themes: Astrolabe, and Ink, a high-contrast theme.
Rasikh Plus (optional)
• Home Screen widgets: adhkār for the time of day, a tasbīḥ counter you tap, one-tap logging of the current prayer, and the Hijri date
• Your whole day on the Lock Screen
• A live countdown to the next prayer on the Lock Screen, in StandBy, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhones that have one
• Controls for Control Center and the Action button
• Four more themes: Midnight, Verdigris, Dusk and Paper
• A year review of the days you logged, as a PDF
Rasikh Plus shows its price in your currency before you pay; the yearly plan starts with 7 days free. The yearly and monthly plans are charged to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. The one-time purchase does not renew.

Latest updates
1.2.2
Prayer times:
• Rasikh now sets the calculation method from where you are, not from your iPhone's Language & Region setting. A method you chose yourself stays as it is.
• In Malaysia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, the UAE, Singapore, Algeria, Jordan and Morocco, the method Rasikh sets now gives times that are never earlier than the official timetable, checked against every day of it we hold. Each time falls on the official minute or up to three minutes after it.
• In Ramadan, when suhoor ends at an earlier dawn than your method's Fajr, the note under "Suhoor ends" says so and explains why.
• In the Emirates outside Dubai, "Why these times" no longer suggests Dubai City's timetable, whose times are not the same as other emirates'.
• VoiceOver reads the next prayer's time without saying "at" twice.
Rasikh Plus, an optional subscription:
• If your free trial of Plus ended without a subscription, Rasikh offers the first year of the yearly plan at half price. It shows once, when you open the app, never near a prayer time, and "No thanks" closes it. For 30 days after the trial, the offer also stays on the Rasikh Plus screen in Settings.
Everything free in Rasikh stays free.
1.2
Ramadan, free for everyone:
• Today shows when suhoor ends, when iftar is, and which day of Ramadan it is
• The Tracker has a Ramadan month for fasting and taraweeh
• A card for the last ten nights
• An optional suhoor reminder, offered when you answer "Has Ramadan begun where you are?"
These appear during Ramadan only and go away after it.
Also for everyone:
• On Apple Watch, "Log this prayer" on the adhan alert records the prayer, free
• Prayer times for New Zealand during daylight saving, and for Fiji's Lau Islands, were a day off. Fixed.
• Give a year of Plus, from the Rasikh Plus screen in Settings or from the paywall: you buy a code through the App Store and send it to someone, who redeems it on Apple's own sheet. Their year ends on its own and nothing renews.
• Under the Start button on the yearly plan, a line says nothing is charged today and, with notifications on, the day Rasikh will remind you
Rasikh Plus, an optional subscription:
• A Suhoor and iftar widget for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Outside Ramadan it shows the next prayer.
• A countdown to iftar or to the end of suhoor on the Lock Screen, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhones that have one. It starts when you tap.
• My Ramadan: one page and a PDF with days fasted, nights of taraweeh and qiyam, and days with a logged prayer, as counts
• The Apple Watch app: prayer times and a countdown on the watch, and the next prayer on watch faces and in the Smart Stack
1.1.5
The Hijri date now matches the official calendar (it had been showing up to two days behind; prayer times were not affected). You can also choose daily morning and evening adhkar reminders, send us feedback from Settings, and see what Rasikh Plus adds before you decide.
