What's new in this version: • Added support for iOS 27 and watchOS 27. • Apple Watch auto-scroll now intelligently pauses when the screen dims or enters the background, and automatically resumes on wake for smoother, more power-efficient reading. • Smoother Apple Watch auto-scroll with better hand and Digital Crown interaction, more reliable chapter endings, and preserved reading position. • Added optional stronger haptic feedback when auto-scroll pauses or resumes as the screen dims. • Improved book management with easier multi-selection for archiving, unarchiving, and deleting books. • Made book transfers safer: books currently being sent to Apple Watch can no longer be accidentally modified or deleted. • Improved email feedback: You can now easily copy diagnostic information if the Mail app cannot be opened, making it simpler to send feedback. (Note: Previously transferred books will need to be re-uploaded to display images.) • Significantly improved EPUB parsing for better chapter recognition, deeper table-of-contents hierarchy, and improved metadata preservation. • Fixed an issue that could cause the app to freeze when transferring very large books from iPhone to Apple Watch. • Enhanced book transfer tracking between iPhone and Apple Watch to improve reliability. • Resolved multiple stability issues, including an error when the Apple Watch speaker is unavailable while charging. • Improved Text-to-Speech (TTS) behavior and chapter title matching. • Listen to books on Apple Watch with the new Read Aloud experience, including natural voices, chapter announcements, Now Playing controls, cover artwork, and background audio. • Customize Read Aloud with per-language speech rates, voice quality choices, and preferred voices for each language.
