About Recipe Scrap - Save & Organize
You saved a great recipe, and now you can't find it. Recipe Scrap ends the "where was that recipe?" problem.
The app is in Japanese only. Its screens, buttons and notifications are not translated. It works best with Japanese recipe posts.
Share a post you found on social media or a recipe site, and Recipe Scrap removes the long intro and promotions, keeping only the ingredients and steps in a clean, fixed format.
SAVE FROM THE SHARE BUTTON
Open a post, tap Share and choose Recipe Scrap. The app opens automatically and starts importing. You can also paste a URL.
ONLY INGREDIENTS AND STEPS
Chatty intros, plugs for other posts and unrelated talk are removed, leaving just what you need to cook.
NO GUESSED AMOUNTS
If an amount is not written in the original post, the app does not make one up. Unclear parts are marked "check", with the reason shown. Open the original post or edit it yourself.
SEARCH BY DISH OR INGREDIENT
Search "chicken" and every recipe that uses chicken appears. Sort recipes into your own folders.
BIG TEXT WHILE COOKING
Kitchen mode shows one step at a time in large text and highlights the ingredients for that step. The screen stays on while you cook.
TWO DISHES IN ONE POST
A post with two dishes can be saved as two separate recipes, or you can pick just one.
YOUR RECIPES STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
Saved recipes are stored only on your iPhone. No sign-up, no name or email needed.
PRICING
Import up to 10 recipes a month for free. Search, folders and kitchen mode are free for everything you save.
Premium (monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription) raises the limit to 150 imports a month. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
