QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
What is a good reaction time?
Most people react to a visual signal in about 200–300 ms. Under 200 ms is very fast. Reactions to sound are usually a bit quicker than reactions to light.
Can you improve your reaction time?
Yes, to a point. Raw reaction speed improves a little with practice, mostly in the first few sessions. Consistency and reactions that involve a decision, like picking the right color or ignoring a trap, improve much more. Good sleep and staying focused help too.
How does RTap measure reaction time?
It measures the time between the signal appearing on screen (or the sound playing) and your tap, and shows the result in milliseconds. Your phone's screen and touch sensor add a small delay of their own, so results can vary between devices.
Who is RTap for?
Anyone who wants faster reflexes: gamers, athletes, drivers, students, or anyone who simply wants to know how fast they are.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Play a 2 player duel on one device, or compare your scores with friends on t
