Rootsy: Plant Identifier

Not sure what your plant needs? Rootsy helps you identify a plant, explore possible causes of visible problems and choose a practical next step.

• Check photos of the plant and problem area with AI.
• Save named plants and organise them by room.
• Plan soil checks, care tasks and reminders.
• Keep dated photos, notes and care history.
• Ask questions using your plant's saved context.
• Use watering, repotting and light-check tools.
• See upcoming care in a Home Screen widget.

Try Rootsy free with one photo check, one follow-up check, one saved plant and three chat messages. Free checks show the likely plant, its health and the most likely cause. Rootsy Pro unlocks the full result (today's suggested action, the clues behind each cause, care basics and suggested checks) and expands your collection and AI use. Manual care, reminders, photo check-ins, history and tools are included, and pet-safety warnings are never locked. General service limits apply.

Plants and history stay on your device; Rootsy does not sync them between devices. Export a copy or delete local records in Settings. AI checks and chat require internet and your consent to send selected photos and plant details for processing. AI can make mistakes; results are guidance, not guaranteed identification, diagnosis or recovery. The camera-based light check is an estimate, not a calibrated light meter.

Rootsy Pro offers auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscriptions. Price and billing period appear before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal. Manage subscriptions in App Store settings; restore purchases in Rootsy Settings.
