- 📦ShiftIQ BC updated to version 12.2.0NEW
• Stat Holiday: under Add Shift → Other, log paid stat hours you don't work (7.5h by default, editable). They're paid at your base rate with pension and show on the calendar as SH with a flag. They don't count as worked time, so no overtime, 5-in-a-row or 225-hour tracking. Stat pay is never added automatically: book each stat you're paid for as a Stat Holiday on the day it's paid.
• Working a Stat Holiday: if you add a shift on a Stat Holiday, ShiftIQ asks whether you're working instead. Say yes and the shift is paid as SD (or SD+), and you can move your Stat Holiday to another date with the same hours.
• Pay code for each side of midnight: a night shift now has its own Reg / OT / ISN / SD / SD+ choice for the hours before midnight and the hours after (for example, 19:00–00:00 at OT 2× and 00:00–07:10 at SD 3×).
• Stat holiday list: Profile → Stat holiday pay lists the year's 13 stats. Tap one to book it as a Stat Holiday; booked stats are marked, including ones paid on another day.
FIXES
• CPP2 is now deducted once your year-to-date earnings pass $74,600 (4% up to $85,000), and it lowers your income tax the way CRA's calculation does.
• Pay period can be changed after setup: Profile → Pay period now takes your paystub's Pay End Date and Pay Date.
• Insights monthly totals now include every paycheque deposited that month.
• Casual in-lieu is now 13% (Art 11.04), up from 12.6%.
• Bank OT hours: the keypad no longer hides the box, and there's a Done button.
• Full-timers are no longer paid automatic stat pay for stats they haven't booked.
• The "BC stat holiday" tip no longer appears after saving a vacation, leave or Stat Holiday day on a stat.
• Setup: the number pad on the Year to date step no longer gets stuck. Tap Done or anywhere on the screen to close it, and amounts with cents (like 1234.56) are now saved correctly.… more - 🆕ShiftIQ BC first spotted by AppInsider#81 in Top Grossing · Finance · Canada
- 📦ShiftIQ BC version 12.1.0NEW
• Several shifts on one day — log a day and a night, two partial shifts, or a shift you picked up on a vacation day. Days with more than one shift get their own mark on the calendar.
• Partial shifts — set your own start and end times when you only worked part of a shift, including a pickup on a vacation day.
• Editable breaks — adjust the unpaid break on a partial shift, so shorter shifts pay for the time you actually worked.
• Pay Modifiers — “Added Premiums” is now Pay Modifiers, with simpler labels and your partial shift, in-charge, short-notice, preceptor, overtime and pager page options in one place.
• Preceptor pay — $1.50/hr on shifts where you’re precepting, shown as its own line on your paycheque.
• Pager page — log a page handled from home, paid at straight time.
• 5-in-a-row heads-up — book a fifth shift in a row and ShiftIQ lets you know it might be eligible for overtime.
• Onboarding now asks for your year-to-date earnings and OT bank balance, so your estimates start accurate.
FIXES
• In-charge and other pay modifiers now work on a second shift added to the same day, including a pickup on a vacation day.
• Boxing Day now falls on December 26 on the calendar and in your pay.
• Date and time pickers stay readable when your phone is in dark mode.
• Refreshed Extra Shift and Reminder buttons, plus other small pay-calculation and interface fixes.… more - 🆕ShiftIQ BC released on the App Store
